The Archivist

The Grimoire is kept by a small studio of tabletop players who got tired of name generators that mashed syllables together and called it elvish. Every culture in this book has its own sound-rules, its own meaning-bearing elements, and its own margin notes, written by hand, the slow way.

Names are assembled from real elements with recorded meanings, filtered so that nothing unpronounceable can reach the page, and dealt from a shuffled deck kept in your browser so the book never repeats itself to you. Nothing you generate is stored on our side; the grimoire's memory of you lives in your own device.
